Amazin-Mets Win Opener

In his first start since September 2010, Johan Santana, pitched five innings of two-hit ball, and the Mets beat the Braves 1-0.
David Wright drove in the only run of the day, and the Mets revamped bullpen strung together four shutout innings.
It wasn’t all good news for the Mets, as they saw their starting center fielder, Andres Torres, leave the game with a calf strain. Since most Mets fans didn’t know Andres Torres was the starting center fielder, the injury didn’t seem to dampen the mood at the stadium.
